MY BRAND PURPOSE

  • To design garments that are unique, purposeful and sustainable.

  • To create quality clothing that supports garment longevity.

  • To produce garments that are ethically made.

My first attempt in fashion design. (2018 NZFW)

White Fabric

The passion ignited in high school, when I was around 15 years old. I paraded in front of my high school friends in long gowns I made from curtains and bedsheets. Whenever I was home alone, I close all windows and doors, wear my mom or my sister´s long gowns and paraded in the hallways and pretended to be on the red carpet.

Fast forward to moving to New Zealand from the Philippines, I finally decided to  study fashion design and graduated in 2016 at the New Zealand Academy of Fashion. Whilst still in the corporate world, I tried dipping my toes in the fashion industry by joining New Zealand Fashion Week 2018 as one of the emerging couture designers. I finally decided to leave the corporate jungle in 2020 not knowing that a virus will change the world. During that time, my thoughts were simple - whatever happens, there is no turning back and I am taking that leap - thankfully I did. I finally launched my brand in 2021 with a clear business and career goal.

My fashion career in NZ gave me a lot of successes despite the market struggles due to the impacts and effects of covid. I rose slowly and steadily but there was this vision in my head and aspiration in my heart that I cannot ignore. Fast forward again, I finally followed that urge to take that big leap once again, so I moved to Spain (2025) along with my husband , Paul and our two lovely rescue dogs, Baloo and Jasper. I now have my own ¨working shop¨ in Estepona, Spain. Now, my vision and aspirations are closer to reach than ever. I do not know what the future holds but I am taking it one step at a time. Watch this space.

MY AESTHETIC

I love classic silhouettes and adding a bit of quirk or edginess  to it. I love mixing street and couture in my ready-to-wear collections. I do not specialise in a certain craft and I do not box myself in a certain style.  I love different fabric textures and mixing them up. I love making my own prints and patterns. I also love beading and hand sewing and creating my own applique to add that personal touch and point of difference.

MY DESIGN VALUES

Garments  should also be functional and purposeful, aside from being stylish and innovative.

Garments should be made with quality for longevity.

Garments should be made ethically, considering the human and environmental impact of each production.ç

Garment should be made with love and patience.
